This is a beautiful pattern and has gained in popularity and is now being widely collected. In 1932 the Scio Pottery plant was started by Lew Reese so people could have affordable dinnerware. In 1947 the Scio Pottery plant was destroyed by fire. The plant was rebuilt, but sadly in 1957 it went out of business.
